En sorgligt eftersatt blogg som jag inte vet om jag ska ha kvar...

I vilket fall som helst vill jag visa vad jag fick av en god vän i julklapp i ett julklappsbyte på ett forum jag är medlem på! Bättre sent än aldrig sägs det ju! Tack Millan! *kram*

It is hot outside and hot inside too and even warmer since I am baking. :) Anyway, I don't have much time to update the blog right now since the garden is calling and we like to be outdoors as much as we can when the weather is nice.

I have been doing some knitting and crocheting this summer, some granny-squares for a bigger blanket that we are a group of people working on together. It goes in pink and will be auctioned on our web-home (http://forum.pyssel.net) in October and all the money will go towards the pink-ribbon fund raiser.

And I have a wool sweater that I need to finish for my son before he outgrows it. ;) And I also need to get going on the cross-stitch stocking my daughter should have for Christmas. All the rest of us have one but hers is not even started yet... And it is already August.

At least I have been taking care of the gooseberries and the red currants from the garden. Most of the gooseberries have been turned into marmalade and jam and the currants are in the freezer waiting to become something else... A big bunch of strawberries are in the freezer too but those I had to buy. This last week we have also been digging up our own homegrown potatoes. They are really tasty!

And we have also tried the local farmers' market here in Uppsala and for a great price we filled a basket with eggs, carrots, sweet peas, and other nice veggies. :) Count us in early next Saturday!

USA-shopping and beautiful RAK!

I just got back from the US and of course some scrap-shopping. :) I had made an order from joann.com and it was sitting waiting for me at my "sister's" house and then I made trip to Michaels as well...

I got most different kinds of letters (thickers and other stickers), some liquid chalk-ink pads, bling swirls and two stacks of paper. The best things I think were the two paper storage accordion folders I got on sale since I have to move out of my scrap-room this fall (our daughter will need the room...) and I can't keep the paperstorage I am using today. Each folder can hold 200 papers but I don't think the two will be enough...

Anyway, after this shopping spree I have a shopping stop except for glue products, ink pads and things needed for "orders".

Lite stickat o virkat.

Den bruna tröjan är stickad i tweedgarn från Rowan och gjordes till min son. Då fick jag aldrig dit knapparna utan använde den ändå.
Nu tyckte jag det var dags att få dit knappar så dessa söta hittade jag på Yll o Tyll här i Uppsala (www.yllotyll.se)

Här är min söta dotter modell i sina nya kläder som är virkade efter ett mönster på garnstudio.com och är gjort i Drops alpacka. Jag måste virka ganska hårt tror jag iallafall i hatten för den är gjord efter stor storlek och SÅ stort huvud har hon inte... Måste tacka Lysmask för att hon skickade lite restgarner till mig så jag kunde göra blommorna. :)
